White Couture Barstool

Photographed in Safavieh's Photo Studio

This couture barstool, a standout piece from one of Safavieh's high-end luxury collections, posed unique photographic challenges due to its design, which includes both velvet white fabric and highly reflective steel legs. To prevent overexposure, I began by utilizing Capture One's advanced tools to accurately detect overexposure on the white upholstery and the background. For the reflective metallic legs, I strategically positioned white boards and managed the lighting to effectively bounce light, ensuring an optimal surface aesthetic while avoiding unwanted reflections.

Further enhancements were carried out in Photoshop, which included precise clip masking of the product, subtle liquify adjustments to refine cushion contours, accurate perspective modifications through skewing, and thorough retouching to remove any surface flaws on both the legs and the fabric. This meticulous process guaranteed that the final image faithfully represents the stool's real-life appearance and intricate details, adhering to high standards.

The collection of photos showcases both edited and raw images of the product from various angles, including a front view, a third quarter view, a profile view, a back view, a third quarter back view, an armrest detail view, and a top view of the barstool.
